Autism news: How to teach addition facts

Dear Friends,

In my last message, I gave an overview of the abacus and how it can help your child understand basic math.

Today we’ll look at how to teach your child the addition facts.

Many children with autism are good at memorizing facts and figures, making them a natural at rote memorization of addition facts.

But if we want our kids to actually understand what they’re learning, we’ll need to take some further steps.
