Autism news: These precautions could prevent tragedy
August 21, 2023
Dear Friends,

Children with autism are often much more of a danger to themselves than typical children. That’s why safety should be a top priority for all of us.

The beginning of the school year is an ideal time to look at your home or classroom to see what needs to be done, fixed, etc. to be sure the environment is safe. But it can be challenging to know what to look for.

So, I’ve composed a list of safety precautions for parents and teachers of autistic children. If you’re like me, you’re probably swamped with a lot to do. So I suggest working on a little each day to make safety in the home or classroom a more doable goal.

To find the list, follow the link at the end of this message.

Warm Regards,

Kay Donato
