Autism news: Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Part I
January 09, 2019
Hello!

Every day can be a major challenge for children and adults who suffer from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD).

Just ask "Davey", a really nice young man who struggles every day with thoughts that torment him. Thoughts of doing things that trouble and bother him, things he really doesn't want to do.

But no matter how much he doesn't want to do those things, the thoughts just won't go away.

Davey is just one of millions of children and adults who suffer every day, often in silence.

And as you may already know, many children and adults with autism also experience these obsessions and compulsions.

My heart goes out to those who suffer from OCD.

That's why I'm putting together a series of articles to help parents and caregivers understand OCD.

Understanding what our kids go through each day is SO important to relieving their suffering.

I've just posted the first of a series of articles on Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

This first article is meant to get our feet wet and introduce the topic of OCD. In upcoming articles I will unpack this subject further so we can all better understand what our kids face each day.

Just click the link at the end of this email to see our latest article on Obsessive Compulsive Disorder facts.

Warm Regards,

Kay Donato
