Autism news: What is Sensory Processing Disorder?
July 25, 2019
Hello!

Sometimes it’s all we can do to keep up with learning about autism and the challenges our kids face with that disability. But unfortunately autism often comes with other problems our children have to cope with as well.

Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) is one of the conditions that are common among children with autism.

You may like to learn more about SPD, what it is, and what it’s like to have to live with it every single day. Some time ago, I wrote a few articles about it that can help you begin learning whether or not your child has it and if so, what you can do to help her cope with this often debilitating disorder.

You’ll also see a video of Carly Fleischmann, a young lady with autism who gives us a vivid picture of what it’s like to cope with SPD.

I’ll soon be reorganizing my website, and will probably be removing some of these articles on SPD. So I thought you would like a chance to learn more about it before I take them down.

Just click the link at the end of this message to learn more about SPD.

Warm Regards,

Kay Donato
