Autism news: Give your child speech therapy at home
October 25, 2022
Dear Friends,

Years ago, when my son was receiving speech therapy, I learned a lot just by observing his therapist each week. Whatever she did during these sessions, I would repeat at home during the week. I thought that if I wanted my son to make progress, he would need to practice every day, not just once a week.

You can learn a lot from your child’s therapist by observing and simply repeating the same lessons at home.

But what if your child doesn’t receive these services? Speech therapy can be expensive if parents have to foot the bill. This can make formal therapy impossible for some.

The good news is that there are steps we can take to give children the speech therapy they need at home.

In the article I link to at the end of this message, I give you tips for speech therapy at home, whether or not your child receives these services outside the home. Just follow the link below to learn more.

Warm Regards,

Kay Donato
